Michelle Inks Contract to Pitch Real Estate in Korea
Tuesday, May 9th, 2006If Michelle wins as many majors as she has endorsement deals, she may be the most winning women’s golfer ever. This week, Michelle signed a two-year deal to pitch real estate in Korea. The Korean developer ShinYoung Co will put Michelle in TV commercials and newspaper advertisements promoting their apartment buildings and other real estate developments. No official word on how much this contract is worth, but sources say it could be upwards of $3 million.
The commercials will be filmed in Hawaii and New York and will begin airing this August. This endorsement deal is a natural for Michelle, considering her Korean background. There is no doubt that other Korean companies will jump on the bandwagon and lure Michelle to pitch other Korean products and services. And if she does begin winning tournaments, especially men’s tournaments, there will be a line out the door of advertisers just waiting to cash in on her popularity.
