Autographed Michelle Wie Photos

Tuesday, May 16th, 2006

Now that Michelle Wie is gaining some notoriety, you’re starting to see signed autographed Michelle Wie photos show up in various locations, especially on eBay. Now might be a good time to pick up a Michelle Wie photo, especially if it is signed by Michelle Wie herself. Imagine having an 8 x 10 signed photo of Jack Nicklaus his first year as a pro. Not to say that Michelle Wie will be as great as Jack Nicklaus by any stretch of the imagination, but Michelle has caused quite a stir in the women’s golf world recently, and eventually a signed Michelle Wie photo may be worth some money- especially if she has a stellar career and is the first woman to win the men’s PGA event.

Below are listed current Michelle Wie photo items on eBay.  If you are new to eBay, click here to register for free.  Even if you are not interested in a Michelle Wie photo, there are millions and millions of other items that you can purchase on eBay, and you’ll get good deals too.

LPGA Silent After Wie Makes Cut at SK Telecom Open

Monday, May 15th, 2006

The LPGA is not saying much over one week after Michelle made the cut at the SK telecom open. The news may be big in South Korea, but the LPGA did not even include the feat in its weekly newsletter or even on its web site.

You get the feeling no one wants to address the issue, and if they do they say things like what Christie Kerr said in a recent interview, "That’s a great accomplishment," but then adding, "I think it would be interesting [to play in a men's event]. But if I were to do it, I would do it for the right reasons, and for me, that would be to raise money for charity."

Do it “for the right reasons…. to raise money for charity?”  Wow, does that ever sound like a Michelle Wie slam.  Does it seem like many of the LPGA members are distancing themselves from Michelle Wie? Makes you wonder will happen if she actually wins a men’s tournament. The tension could get pretty thick over the next few years, and if Michelle does actually win a men’s event who knows what will happen. She will change the landscape of women’s golf forever.
