Michelle Wie recently was interviewed in typical Michelle Wie fashion. She talked about her hopes for the 2007 LPGA season, whether she will continue to try to golf on the PGA tour and how she handles the criticism of her attempts to play with the men.

Michelle Wie will be sitting out of some golf for the next month or so while she nurses a wrist injury back to normal. She apparantly suffered this injury after falling while running. Doctors expect it will take four to six weeks to heal. Wie’s right wrist was tightly taped from an injury last month at the Sony Open, where she missed the cut.Can we take much more drama on this? Last year it was heat exhaustion and now this. You would think that she has played on the tour for decades. Do you remember Jack Nicklaus having this much drama to his career? There is even speculation that Michelle injured her wrist intentionally. That might be stretching it a bit, but you never know. Michelle just can’t seem to shake the fact that there always seems to be an excuse for poor play - and now it seems there is an excuse even before play begins. Until she starts winning big time, the conspiracy and rumors will never end.
