Absolutely, Wie at least has to try to show she is interesting in wining, locking up second place sends a wrong message that she cares about stats more than winnings.
Was that the 18th or 19th hole?
I like when she bent over.
I think Wie is just trying to hang in there and regain confidence. She is NOT the “female” tiger. There is no way she’ll even come close to being like Tiger until she wins a couple and gets the monkey off her back. I really do not see that happening this year. Maybe one if she is lucky, but I doubt it. But after she wins a couple, the rest of the field had better watch out. If she stays healthy and makes the right decisions, I think it will happen next year or 2011.
She has the talent, but developing the mental game is very difficult, and some never develop it. Tiger did it the right way and moved through the ranks and developed it.
